WKF Organising Committee Chair Marton Falusi Visits WKF Headquarters in Madrid

The newly-appointed Organising Committee Chair of the World Karate Federation, Marton Falusi, visited the federation’s headquarters in Madrid for a working meeting focused on the planning of upcoming international karate events.

Mr Falusi was welcomed by WKF President Antonio Espinós,. with WKF CEO Sara Wolff also attending the meeting.

The main point of the agenda was the revision of organisational matters related to the upcoming major events on the international karate calendar. Mr Falusi also serves as Chair of the Organising Commission of the European Karate Federation and recently acted as the Supervisor of the Karate One Premier League in Rome.

WKF President Antonio Espinós said:

The World Karate Federation is evolving rapidly across all its areas of activity, and the organisation of our events is no exception. With the recent creation of a dedicated Events Department, we are entering a new stage in how we plan, deliver, and enhance our competitions around the world. In this context, we felt it was the right moment to bring new energy and perspective to the Organising Commission. Mr. Falusi brings valuable experience, background, commitment, and a clear vision for the continued development of our events. We are confident that under his leadership, the Commission will further elevate the WKF's organisational standards and support our goal of delivering increasingly professional, efficient competitions aligned with the growth of our sport. With this appointment, we aim to give a new push to the organisation of our competitions and guide them into their next phase.”
