Australia Claims Female Team Kumite Crown

Australia were crowned the new Oceania champions in Female Team Kumite after defeating hosts New Zealand in the final. The Australian team delivered a strong performance to secure the continental title and book their place at the Karate World Cup.

New Zealand Wins Male Team Kata Title

New Zealand captured the Male Team Kata crown in an all-New Zealand final. The newly crowned champions overcame a fellow New Zealand team to take the continental title and secure Oceania’s qualification spot for the Karate World Cup.

Australia Triumphs in Male Team Kumite

Australia added a second title of the day by winning the Male Team Kumite competition. In the final, the Australians defeated New Zealand to secure the gold medal and the only available Karate World Cup qualification place in the category.
