The World Karate Federation (WKF) has launched a new Karate Social Legacy section on its website, bringing together the Federation's main social legacy programmes in one place. The new section highlights WKF's long-term commitment to using Karate as a force for positive change beyond competition.
Social legacyis at the heart of the WKF's strategy. It reflects both the values of Karate and the sport's contribution to society through projects that create opportunities, promote inclusion, and improve lives.
The new section features the four flagship WKF social legacy programmes developed so far:
By bringing these initiatives together, the new Karate Social Legacy section showcases how the WKF is using sport as a tool for empowerment, inclusion, education and social transformation. It also provides a dedicated platform to share the impact, progress and future development of each programme.
The launch of the Karate Social Legacy section marks another step in the WKF's mission to strengthen the social impact of Karate worldwide. As these initiatives continue to grow, the new platform will serve as a central hub to showcase how Karate is helping build more inclusive, sustainable and resilient communities around the world.
