WKF Welcomes Morocco Karate Federation President in Madrid Ahead of Karate One Premier League Rabat 2026

The President of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Karate and Associated Disciplines, Mohamed Mouktabil, visited the headquarters of the World Karate Federation (WKF) in Madrid, Spain, where he was welcomed by WKF President Antonio Espinós.

The meeting took place as Morocco prepares to host one of the most important events of the karate calendar, the Karate One Premier League Rabat, scheduled for June 12-14. The competition will mark the final stop of the 2026 season of Karate One Premier League and will see the Grand Winners of the year crowned in the Moroccan city.

During the visit, the leaders reviewed the current situation of karate in Morocco and around the world, while discussing the continued growth of the sport in the region. The progress of karate in Africa was another important topic of the meeting. The organisation of international karate events in Morocco was also high on the agenda.

Special attention was given to the upcoming Karate One Premier League Rabat 2026 and the 2027 Individual World Championships Qualification Tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Morocco next year and is set to play a key role in the road to the World Championships.

WKF President Antonio Espinós thanked Mr Mouktabil for his visit and praised his commitment to the advancement of karate.
